I just have to say....

Okay, so everyone everywhere who lives within like a 50 mile radius of me has probably posted about the weather in some way.

BUT THAT'S BECAUSE IT'S GLORIOUS!!!!!

I don't care how many adults or grown-up children there are who hate the snow, I will shamelessly continue my love for it. I refuse to let my sheer delight for tiny white flakes die.

I will dance in the snow, even if it means my boots get soaked through....

I will make snow angels and sled and have snowball fights till I'm freezing...

I'm going to build a snowman, I'm going to run up and down hills and delight in it like a child.

Also add to that that there's NO SCHOOL TODAY?! Yes I am happy.

  1. I would like snow if I didn't so greatly dislike extreme temperature fluctuations. I hate cold cheeks, noses, fingers, and toes, and I hate sweating under too many layers, especially while the afore mentioned parts of me are cold.

I am, however, grown up enough to appreciate not having to go out when there is too much snow. That's something I never thought would happen.

And I'd like to point out that I live within 50 miles of you, and I have NOT posted about the weather. :-)

  3. Haha, Shrimpy. :)

Andrea - I actually always found the cold fingers/toes/noses/etc and sweaty rest-of-self was a distinct part of being in the snow. That's what makes a snow day a snow day. :-)

Also, I said probably everybody. =P

  4. That's why I don't like snow days. :-P Or snow in general. Every time it comes I think I'm going to make myself enjoy it, and every time I still hate it.
